How old is too old?

or older than you?
If yes... why? How much older or younger... 10-20 yrs?
If you would not... why not?
Should there be a different standard for men vs. women?

 I guess it all depends on how much you like the person, I would say my limit is ten years. I have been the younger person in a relationship by ten years and I found no boundaries.

 age is not a limit when u love someone ...ive always dated younger women ..but somehow always wanted and older one...id say about 10 years either way would be a limit

 Hey there

I've only ever loved 2 men (boy/man) in my life.

My first love was when I was a teenager we were together through our teenage years and we were the same age. We were together when we were 15 16 17 and split when we were 18ish.

I met my husband when I was 19 and we have been together ever since. He's 7 years older than me. I love my older man.

 Older by maybe 4 years. Younger by 20 or so.
I count the ages ahead of me as "dog" years.
Sensibly, I believe 12 is about the 'appropriate' limit.

are very mature and know what they want in life.
Younger women waiver back and forth and to impulsive.

I have always dated men younger than myself.. Not sure why, that is just the way it has been... My ex was 7 years younger than myslef, and once again... we never parted company because of the age difference...

I am a young 42 yr old.. healty ,fit and active...and to let you in on a secret that is not really a secret!! am inlove with a wonderful man who is9 years younger than me...
He is much more mature than men my own age I know.. He is spiritually mature and just adorable

 Well the guy that I am dating is 2 years younger than me I have always dated older men as I agree with Frazzie about the maturity issue. But if the man that God brings into your life is the one He has for you, then I believe you should follow the Lord and not question the age thing!

Statistic and Life () proves that men are more immature than women. Imagine dating a guy - say, 20.. and your 34.. how immature he will be compared to you..

Now if the guy is older and the womans younger - then it is goood..

But thats only MY look on it..

 I think it depends how old you are. A 60 year old marrying a 40 year old is much less of a difference than (say) a 38 year old marrying an 18 year old.

At 42 I married someone 13 years younger than me, and the age difference rapidly became invisible to both of us. We often said that if we had both been ten years younger it would have been a different story. By 32 I had been round the block a few times but my ex-wife at 19 was just emerging from a sheltered childhood.

 I think 10 years up or down would be my limit. I want our frame of reference in history to be mostly the same. I would rather not have to
