I just spoke to Mia and got a great idea from her, she is looking at volunteering at a homeless shelter on thanks giving. I am going to bake some cookies and add a bible text to the bag, Num 6 : 24 - 26 and hand these out at the shelters. What other ideas can you come up that will make a difference and add some value? The homeless shelter is a great one. I know around here at least it's almost difficult to volunteer because so many people apply! And I love the idea of the bible verses! How about any local battered women's alliances. Or single parent welfaring agencies. It'd be wonderful to host a family completely in home, I think if capable. Elderly homes are always in need it seems. Just some thoughts...sweet lady. GBY Sister!
