I arrived safely in the States. The flight was 25 hours, with a delay on my overlay in Atlanta, ended up being 3 hours instead of two, it felt so much longer after the 20 hour flight from South Africa. I think you guys rock, everybody is so friendly and I feel right at home. Tom is a darling, and we hit it off very well. It feels as though it was meant to be. I know it is early days, but I am having a ball and are very excited. Lol, had my first experience driving on the wrong side of the road, I have to agree, it was a nightmare, Lol, I think more for Tom than me. I had one freaky incident where I tried turning into oncoming traffic but lived to tell the tale. Every time a car approaches from the front it feels as though it is where I am supposed to be. I met the family and friends and so far so good. It is awkward, you think it is difficult as a youngster to meet the parents, try meeting the children as a 40 something. My internal clock is slowly adjusting, the first 3 nights I woke up at 1am and was wide awake because that was my mornings in South Africa. I am at 4am now lol. We don't drive on the wrong side of the road....it's just that with you living underneath the globe, you all are driving upside down. Eph 2:10 We are his workmanship (poiema, or poem, or work of art) created in Christ Jesus. God is an artist and you are His masterpiece!

so glad to hear you made it the U.S. safe and in one piece. WOW do we really drive on the wrong side of the road . I worry how it will be for me if I ever have to meet a guy and his kids, so far no prospects  . I bet his kids just loved ya. Thanks for the update and will look for more blogs on about you trip GBU and enjoy your time Yahweh is my light and salvation.

Yep, I can imagine! I had a few 'interesting' moments when I did some driving whilst on holiday in Canada!!  I think it was even more 'exciting' for my Canadian friends!!  GBY, Pat.

. When we told King George bye bye, we decided he was backward and as part of our rebellion, started to drive our carts and wagons on the other side of the street. At least this is my opinion. You drive that way because of the Romans, you all watched chariots pass that way so the drivers could wield swords at each other, since most were right handed, thus passing and traveling was natural that way. At least that was the explanation I have accepted. . . Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know? Yes? ? .
