Three nights ago, when I went to bed, I became wide awake all of a sudden. I started feeling burdened for my oldest son who is 2,000 miles away at the present. I then started praying for him. The burden grew heavier. It became so heavy I got out of bed to check my emails to see if I had a message from him. I didn't. I continued to pray for him, even though I didn't know what to pray for specifically. I felt fear trying to come on me because of the burden I was feeling for him. I lifted the fear up to God and said, "Lord, I lift this fear up to You because I know it did not come from you. I trust You with my son. Thank You, Father!" I went back to bed, only to wake up 3 hours later with the same burden. I got back out of bed and started praying for my son again. A few hours later, my son contacted me. He works at a convenience store while in his last semester of college. He said he was robbed at gunpoint while at work that night. A guy came into the store, ran behind the counter, stuck a gun in his ribs, and demanded all of the money in the cash register. The robber took the money and fled, WITHOUT SHOOTING MY SON! Thank You, Lord!  Without knowing it, the first time I felt the burden to pray was the start of my son's shift! The second time, when I was awoken with the burden to pray, was at the same time that my son was being robbed at gunpoint! WOW! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE HAVE!  or..should I say.. WHAT AN AWESOME GOD HAS US! By His Grace! 4gvn  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2Cor. 4:3 KJV

. We serve an awesome God and He loves us so. . . Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know? Yes? ? .

Hi 4gvn. What an awesome God we have. Isn't it so good that we listen to those little promptings and do what we are supposed to do. I have sent you an e-mail. Please read. I will be totally off the magazine for a few months, as Ken has appeared here again, and I have already signed a legal affidavit at the lawyers saying I will not have contact with him for the next 7 months. I will only be there to read. Sorry I can't be dishonest and post anything there that he can use against me. Contact is contact even if it is only on this site. Would you please let the others know. I will post on by blog until he uses it for contact and then I will have to quit that too. God's blessings my friend. Assured Salvation and God's forgiveness are all that matters.

Hey livingmyfaith, Sorry to see you have to take a break from the mag. As soon as I saw the name, I knew it was ken. 4gvn and I were discussing whether or not it was indeed him in emails, you have now verified it! Not sure how we can help you, except maybe to pray for you and him as well. Sorry 4gvnrn, not trying to go off topic on your post, but I did respond to this topic in your mag post!

Thanks so much ahhme. You don't realize how much I will miss posting but I will still read. I did delete everything I had posted on the magazine, and have turned the profile off. I will sincerly miss the interaction. God bless you my friend. (Sorry 4gvn - I too went off topic) Assured Salvation and God's forgiveness are all that matters.
