Yes, generational curses are carried in many who just dont know or understand, a little over a year ago,i was delievered from a generational curse of witchcraft. My family from what I know and seen, didnt play with that, but it was manifested greatly within me and the connection of the spiritual world. When I began to seek out these "spiritual connections" Satan tried to pull me back to my roots of witchcraft...santeria. But God knows better of course and revealed to me that wasnt him and i left. Apparently, my family actually it boils down to the roots of Puerto Rico, a religon in the light as they say. The church i am attending, specializes in deliverances, etc. and oneday i went up there for prayer on one thing and then all of a sudden got delievered from witchcraft, something passed on in my blood, that i never knew of or thought I would have. Yes, there are still generational curses, people know something is not right maybe by bad luck, or a dark cloud over them, or a sickness in the family that is passed down, etc. but they dismiss it as if it's life or it's God's will for them to live like that. When we understand the Word, live the Word, when we know and we know why Jesus died on the cross, we would know he reedemed us from all curses, sicknesses, sins and infirmities. amen. and then of course the right Pastor or leader to break off thoses curses in Jesus name. The Word of God is deep, and goes deeper. To those that willing to take God out of the box, they will learn so much more of him and from him. Amen. God bless!

Thank You very much for your reply. I agree that generational curses do exist. But, after Christ on the cross you will find nowhere where a born again believer in Jesus Christ is ever prayed over to be delivered from one. That is because it is all built in at salvation. All curses for the believer were broken at the cross. I used to pray deliverance etc for 5 years over Christians. Then I started to study the Covenants and understood when the Covenants began and ended. I realized it is impossible for a Christian to have a demon oppression, let alone a possesion. The scriptures after Christ do not support it. Atonement is everything. Its why we are believers. There is no place where generational curses exist regarding born again believers in Christ. I welcome any scripture after Jesus gives atonement where it shows a generational curse being broken on a believer. Think about it....It happens at salvation for a believer. Just as does deliverance. The Holy Spirit indwells in the believer at salvation. Blessings to you!
