To me Jesus is the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, He is God that came in the flesh and redeemed me on the cross. Nothing less.
He isnt a messenger. He is the message. He isnt an Angel, as Angels are created by him.
The word warns about "Other Jesus'" being presented to us.
Its important to know the real thing.

**This was yet another STRAW MAN presentation brought to you by Dennis"
From Wikipedia:
A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw man argument" is to describe a position that superficially resembles an opponent's actual view but is easier to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent (for example, deliberately overstating the opponent's position). A straw man argument can be a successful rhetorical technique (that is, it may succeed in persuading people) but it carries little or no real evidential weight, because the opponent's actual argument has not been refuted.
Its name is derived from the practice of using straw men in combat training. In such training, a scarecrow is made in the image of the enemy with the single intent of attacking it. Such a target is, naturally, immobile and does not fight back, and is not as realistic to test skill against compared to a live and armed opponent. It is occasionally called a straw person argument, straw dog fallacy, scarecrow argument, or wooden dummy argument.

I think Dennis is bright enough to realize, in actuality, that I never said Jesus was "just a Messenger" OR that He was a literal Angel. And he also realizes that I have said ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS that Jesus is the Creator, GOD. Im starting to see why WalkingMan had such an attitude problem with Dennis now.

Who do I say He is? He is Jesus, the Christ! My Savior! Born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and then gave His life on a cruel rugged cross as atonement for my sins, AND ROSE FROM THE GRAVE (He is alive!)and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father, interceding for me. Hallelujah! He is my Lord and my God!
Seek the Creator not the creation!

Angels are created beings, they are not flesh and blood. Not one of them could shed the blood that was needed for the redemption of sin! Only the Lamb of God, God's only begotten Son qualified for that job. Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah!
Seek the Creator not the creation!

I have to laugh though because if I remember correctly, at first Dennis was saying Jesus ISNT a Messenger.
But now that apparently he realizes that he has to admit the Bible calls Him a Messenger, he has changed his tune to "Jesus wasnt JUST a Messenger, He was THE Messenger"
(AS IF I had been saying that Jesus was anything less than that, which I never said at all)
Remember the COMMANDMENT about not bearing false witness against thy neighbor?
I know you think, Dennis, that everything in the 10 Commandments is "Old Covenant" but its never a good thing to bear false witness against someone and you can do that by insinuations, and whatever this is that you keep doing (havent quite thought of a name for it as of yet).
And you know how you just keep on and on insinuating that I have said Jesus was AN ANGEL literally, as in a created being, Dennis?
Jesus sees ALL OF THIS... that you are doing.
Do you have a conscience?
You know good and well I NEVER said Jesus was a literal angel or that He was a created being. You are WELL AWARE that I have always said the Bible just gives the terminology that Jesus was a Messenger of God... (see Isaiah 42).
Actually I worry about you because you seem to think all we have to do is "believe" and this seems to have done something to your conscience. Any normal person would feel GUILTY about doing such terrible MISREPRESENTATIONS about what I have said on this subject.
I am appalled, actually.
Not that surprised though, after all, they did called Jesus Baalzebub. Its just that I often wonder if you actually believe what you are putting forth here? because to be honest, my kids when they were 10 years old could tell the difference between TERMINOLOGY and literally saying Jesus was an "Angel".
I cant believe I defended you that one time to everyone when WalkingMan was saying you were insincere when you apologized to someone. I wont ever do it again, thats for sure.

Hi Priscilla. Well done in tracing the book! I assume you're going to go the whole way now and buy a copy. Pity I can't get across to sign it for you but I hope you enjoy reading it. You can tell me what you think by email when you've finished it. Did I say I'm writing a second one?
God bless. Peter
