Hi friends and visitors, Well after bein freaked out for a short while i`m now back to the Love filled me. I`ve been on a course for the last two weeks called Christianity Expored.It`s through the church i attend.Yeah , they`ve sussed out i don`t know much,  .Anyway apparently it`s an alternative to the Alpha course (which incidentally i`ve been on, as most of you will know).We (those who attend) get a lovely two course meal before we get started n anybody who knows me will know that i`ll go anywhere for meal where somebody else does the dishes,.Anyway i`m goin off track abit.I heard something tnight that made me feel sooooo good.I know what ya thinkin,cor blimey she must have been one heck of a sinner, well not that bad, ,really i wasn`t, .Oops,we haven`t got t that bit yet.Anyway sorry i can`t tell ya exactly where it was from in the Bible but it was when JESUS was havin a meal with tax collectors and others who were looked down on ( i forgot who they were)and the pharasees got annoyed about it and said something to the disciples.I know you`ll know what that was.Anyway the answer that came back was (forgive me if i quote this wrong)"JESUS came to save the sinners and not the righteous".Wow.That alone hit me like a ton of bricks.I don`t know exactly what it means by the righteous.Who were the righteous?. I bet there are some of you who are laughin right now at the thought of me bein so dopey but hey i`m try to learn, gimme a break .Seriously guys.Who were they?Yours in CHRIST, Wendy  Show me the way Sweet JESUS. I think he's being sarcastic. The religious people thought they were righteous, but they weren't really. I think Jesus is making the point that if they were righteous, they wouldn't need a saviour, but if they thought they were too holy to bother with him, he's go to the people that realised they needed him I've done Christianity Explored, and I really liked it take care

Mat 9:10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. Mat 9:11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? Mat 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. I guess these are the verses you meant Wendy? This is a great course you are doing, Wendy! The Alpha course is also awesome.....so many have been led to Christ because of it. Keep going the way you are my friend......you are so inspiring in your quest to discover the awesome richness of our Lord!  Penelope Captive of Hope

the righteous Jesus is referring to was those that already believed in Him. Jesus is making a point by using a parable that well people do not go to the doctors only sick people go to the doctor. Jesus point is that He is the doctor doing house calls and is looking for those that are sick or in need of a touch of the master's hand to receive life for eternity in heaven, cheers May the Lord bless you and keep you
