This is the attitudes of some people around this place... yet, YOU won't speak up to try and change anything and instead you whisper amongst YOURSELVES as if THAT is going to change anything.

When Christians stand UP!

Demons bow down.

I am a child of a King.

I act like it! I am riding this horse, the horse doesn't ride me!

Salvation is of the LORD

I suck at confrontations. I spent so much of my life before I came to Christ in abusive relationships that when I came to Christ, I prayed and prayed that He would grant me security and peace. Even during some very chaotic times, He has continued to grant me both but I still shy away from confrontations.

It wasn't too many years ago that I stopped flinching everytime someone of the male species made too quickly of a move around me. I probably should stand up more. I am better at standing up for others than myself. I guess it's an area that God is still working on me regarding.

Of course, now that I am back working, I am not on here enough to even know what some of the confrontations are about any more and some of the things I have read are just confusing to me since I have missed much.

I think we all have different gifts and personalities. I believe God didn't save us all into sameness but created each of us uniquely. You, Priscilla, are bold and outspoken and those personalities traits can be used by God for His glory.

I, on the other hand, are a bit of a goofball. I try to use my sense of humor to make people smile and laugh. Proverbs says a cheerful heart is good medicine.

But we both have knees and I do believe prayer can be a powerful weapon, healer, uplifter, etc... because it is then we go to Him and place those burdens at the foot of the cross and let Him take over.

God bless you Priscilla. You know I love ya!
