Some of you get on your HIGH horse and write blogs about all the BICKERING that takes place here on BC but if you really want to do something about it, MAKE SUGGESTIONS on how it should be done! Don't just write posts making YOURSELVES look like YOU are NOT LIKE THE REST OF US, take the time to suggest how it should stop. I look up to many of the women here on BC and I am open to suggestions. I don't like all this BICKERING myself and more times than not, I am in the MIDST of it. Any suggestions? I am open to them, just speak up please.... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, SO PLEASE COMMENT...

You know,....I got on what I thought was a High Horse one time...It was kind of thrilling and exciting to be doing something new....me being the daredevil that I am.

Anyway, he started going up and down and round and round tossing me every which way...I was screaming and hollering...GET me off...GET me off....and finally the Wal Mart manager came out and pulled the plug....

Hi Priscilla,
Great comment from drifter. I try to stay away from high horses myself.
Priscilla, what makes you bold and a great witness for the Lord is your colorful and passionate personality. You are outspoken. This is probably why you do find yourself speaking your mind and getting involved. It is not you I am worried about. You do not hold onto things but just seem to get it off your chest. My daughter is like this.
Just be careful not to let these endless battles distract you from where God wants you. Blessings lots.

Romans 14 verse 5 One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. 3 Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

ok Priscilla...I will make a stab at a serious answer for things that I would like to see.

1) some original thinking or observations about what our situation is here both now and on the horizon. Historically Christians have been persecuted. We in America have been shielded from that somewhat but there are changes developing daily.

2) Questions about anything by anyone without their being subjected to ridicule...unless it's Yendor wanting a banana or french fries.

3) Things that inspire. For instance, if something has happened that is God related ...just share it. And, you have done this I know.

4) and maybe the opposite. Let's say one fails to follow God's direction and they suffer for it. We can all learn from others' mistakes. I would just make the comments generic enough not to draw in problems for yourself or anyone associated with your episode. And when I say "your' I am speaking generically.

5) I don't think BC is the right place to discuss apparent contradictions in the Bible, but sometimes those can easily be explained by some kind of geographic or cultural or historical knowledge. This is where our scholars can shine. If someone has one that needs addressing, so be it...let 'er rip.

6)I think there is a real difference between 'bickering' and discussing real issues. I don't know of anyone against discussing issues, or even debating them.
But we have all seen attacks just for the sake of attack and what real good is that except for someone's idea of entertainment....?

But it will continue to happen. That is the nature of the net, BC, and people in general. But we all can choose what side of that coin we are going to be on.

7) We have all seen questions asked and the other ...rather than answer or say "I don't know' changes the subject, dances around, or shifts from defense to offense. Why...??? There is nothing wrong with saying " I Don't Know.."

Situational Ethics....I could ask hundreds of questions related to this and make posts as well. My next post will be one to illustrate.

9) I wrote a post about Geronimo...it got not a single comment....*S*...I do that a lot...*S*. Anyway, it spoke of perceiving the real enemy. If we don't perceive correctly we are going to have collateral damage....and worse.

10) One of my long standing questions is just to what extent satan and God work in our lives today... Someone scholarly could expound on that. Someone could make a comprehensive list of satanic traits within an individual in today's world that is biblically sound. I don't think we would find that just anyone and everyone is satanic.

11) Similarly, one on the fruits of the Spirit.

I guess my thrust would be that there is a universe full of constructive topics not being addressed...let's do some of those...maybe at least get a higher percentage than destructive ones.

Drifter: Because you have mentioned it before I wanted you to know that I read your Geronimo post but didn't comment because I wasn't sure what you were talking about.

Godwhispers: I think that the only way some people will change is if God's softens their hearts. And the only thing I know to do is pray for them. I know I don't have all the answers but I think He does!

Hello OC...it was simply that no matter whether one is the good guy or the bad guy or a pirate wearing a sissy shirt...you won't win your war if you don't perceive both your enemy and your self correctly. Geronimo survived for so long, being pursued relentlessly, and also defended his people as well by being able to do that. Sorry, I am not always the best at being clear.
